Best salads on the lake. Awesome view. Clean. Best fun staff ever. I gassed up my boat. Folks here were excellent. Great burgers. Best Bloody Mary and hand crafted old fashions on the lake. Killer lake view of castle rock lack

Now, this place is fun and my favorite place on Castle Rock Lake. Maybe not so much on a Saturday night as it turns into an ooom-cha club for college kids, but most any other time it's cool. Yeah, the food isn't stellar but it does its job and it's not horrible nor inedible. The Dirty Turtle definitely has the best decor of any place on the lake. Great place to meet locals or other fun folks from out of town though sadly it's starting to get over-run by some FIB'ers. Relaxed beach-side attitude and very worth a stop. Several stops.

Pulled in here to gas up the boat and take a look around, I have to say the people were a little different in here. The staff was definitely not friendly , and the place wasn't the cleanest Must be why they call it. The dirty turtle. I Just got a weird vibe from this place.

Spent the day on the lake yesterday which happens to be right outside. The tiki bar is probably my favorite part. It was super hot outside n I was hoping for some relief inside the bar with some AC, but no luck. It was still hot, luckily tho the bloody marys were delicious. A bit sweet tasting at first, but tasty none the less. I personally think the best part was the shrimp. I'd go back again considering drinks were cheap. They averaged at $3.50 Wayyyyy cheaper than back home.

We stopped in for a drink and to get a bite to eat and ended up leaving before ordering anything. It was not very nice inside. Dark, damp and loud atmosphere. It might be fun at night after the dinner crowd but wasn't what we were looking for. Also hate when menus are left out on the tables as they are not very clean. These definitely did not seem clean.

Stopped here during our pontoon ride around Castle Rock Lake. Prices are ok loved the tiki bar was super fun swinging while I enjoyed a drink. Loved that fact they have a very nice play area for the kids. Ordered a nacho and a French fry nacho thing they were ok nothing spectacular. Beer was cold. Not the cleanest place and service was slow as far as waiting to get a drink.

Been going here for a long time. Not the greatest place that's for sure, but there are just not a lot of options, so people end up here. Tables and floors are not the cleanest. Feels dirty / uncleaned at the tables. They have a very limited menu and quite an odd selection of things, which are way over priced for bar food. An example of an odd thing is a Gyro. Now it's not your Gyro rotisserie / Shawarma, but the same Gyro meat you buy in your frozen section in a box. Why bother doing this if you do it like this? Yet they have homemade Tzaziki but all you can taste is mint and lemon. You have to fill out your orders on a sheet of paper, bring it up there, then they bring it out to you. Not sure what the point of this is, maybe it was the thing to do when they opened but it's 2014, people want their orders taken properly. Food is average--nothing really stands out that I've had. I would probably suggest the burgers. There's not a lot of choices, and this really isn't any worse than the other options, but none of them are very good.

It's a lake bar. ..nothing fancy, just comfortable. Friendly to tourists, yet the locals hang there as well.

After a long day of fishing and partying on the lake, We stopped at the Dirty Turtle. When you walk through the door it looks like a great place to hang out. The drinks there are great and hands down the best bloody marries that I have had in a long time. But the service and the food could use a little work. It is all self service unless you sit at the bar. After filling out our order on a piece of paper you have to walk up to the bar place your order and pay. I thought that for being a famous place on the lake that they would have a little more class. This place still looks like a great place to have a few drinks with your friends, but I would get food at the pizza place right down the road instead.

Generous and delicious Bloody Mary, wonderful food, friendly service. Gyro and Idaho nachos are filling and yummy. Very casual. I can't say enough great things about this place!
